"We were fortunate to work with Mike and Lauren Hathaway of Revival Construction on a big renovation of our 150 year old farmhouse in Bucks County where we've lived weekends for 22 years. This house is such an important part of our lives that we wouldn't trust a renovation to someone unless they had the knowledge, skill and respect for historic construction.  Mike and the Revival team were above and beyond anything we could have hoped for.

They are talented artisans who deeply understand both the practical and the creative parts of carpentry, building and renovation.  Their green orientation helped us not only feel good about the work, but created unique solutions that make the house even more a part of its environment.  Whether it was personal things, like leaving our home clean no matter how extensive the work...or business issues, like being accurate and on estimate with budgeting or thorough about regulations, safety and construction requirements, they were caring as if it were their own home.

I can't tell you how many times Mike came up with solutions to the inevitable changes that come along with an older house.  Or how his work ethic is over the top, doing whatever it takes to get the job done right and perfectly.  Or how working with him and his team was like extending our family.  His patience, good humor, communication skills and thoughtfulness linger even since the job has been done...on time, on budget and on track with everything we dreamed and more.  We are so proud of all he and his terrific team did to make our home more beautiful and enjoyable for years to come.
