OLD CANAL LANE
Oddly enough, our needs have changed in 150 years. This renovation attempted to make an old house more suited for modern living but without losing the delightful charm of a well loved house.
We carefully removed walls, opened ceilings, and brought in more light and fresh air to a second living space. A rejuvenated master bathroom is flush with natural light from two new windows and a vaulted ceiling, but cabinets of locally sourced wood and featuring wavy glass panels keep the soft charm of the homes’ antique roots.
Some highlights include: custom Revival built-ins, cotton fiber cellulose and spray insulation, air sealing and window upgrades, recycled glass tiles and reclaimed wood flooring.
